Bug report - Karoo 2 - Ride name data field length inconsistent with dashboard

Hello Team,

Scenario 1

when I input a ride name on my Karroo 2 device

then I was unable to input full name I wanted (<longer ride name>), but I could input more characters for <longer ride name> on hammerhead.dashboard.io

 

Scenario 2

given <longer ride name> via dashboard

then on Karoo 2 device

• <longer ride name> on RIDES screen is fully visible (as expected)
• <longer ride name> on specific ride details (edit mode) is cut, so last existing characters are not visible and cannot be input more via Karoo 2 device (unexpected) 

Please review.

  I have reported these internally, and it should be added on the backlog for a fix or improvement. Thanks!

  Thank you @Ali. I also forgot to add - Polish Diacritics are not available when I input ride's details on Karoo 2 device. For HH Dashboard works correctly.

  I agree with this, particularly not enough characters on the device. I often like longer ride names, and at present need to change the ride name on Strava or the dashboard.
