Navigation Functions: Reverse Route, Re-Ride older ride, Create route, Route Profile
CompletedHi Hammerhead,
after some longer rides in the past days using the navigation feature I have the following suggestions for improvement:
1) Reverese Route
It would be very helpful to be able to choose the direction of saved routes directly on the device
2) Re-ride older Ride / "Route from Ride"
Sometimes you just want to retrace an older ride. So it would be cool, to be able to choose a route from a saved ride. Also here it would be ery helpful to be able to ride this route in reverse direction (see 1)
3) Navigation to adress
This is at the moment possible by either
- pin drop --> works well
or
- creating a new route by searching via text for an adress while having internet connection
For this second option I have two requests:
3.1 The search menu doesn't tell you if you should first enter the start or the target-adress. Could you add an information or symbol that it is clear which adress you should first enter? At the moment it is a bit confusing.
3.2 When in a hurry you just want your Karoo to take you from your actual position to a certain looked-up adress. Would it make sense to have a quick "Nav to adress" option (without having to first set a starting adress and save this as route...)
4. Route Profile (MTB, Gravel, Road)
There are some older posts (+2years) that ask for this feature... I just want to bring it up again, since it is really important
As always thanks for your great support.
Cheers Andreas

Hi All,
Update: You can now follow any of your routes in reverse, without the internet. When selecting your route from the routes list on your Karoo, choose “Follow in reverse.”
Thank you!Comment actions -
Hi @Andreas - pls check the posts by number of votes and vote the already-existing posts up accordingly, e.g. reverse route, route to address, route profiles. If we split all our votes up btw different threads, nothing will happen. Pls focus your votes on the ones that already exist AND already have a high number of votes... thanks! :-)
