Karoo 1 - freezing mid ride
AnsweredNever had this issue before since I had Karoo 1 when its first released. But this happened twice recently. Both were not long rides, less than 2 hours, in the middle of the ride, all data fields suddenly appeared to be 0, and stayed as 0, including power, heart rate, speed, cadence etc. As it appeared the unit was dead. Further looking into it, the clock was still running, riding time was still counting. But all other data fields were 0. Even the radar was frozen, so a car detected never gone away from the screen. Simply not moving.
The only fix was to reboot the unit and resume the ride. Ride didn't appear to be lost.
Anyone else experienced this problem?

Hi Ken, From your message, I understand how bad this experience could be and thank you flagging this. We have received a couple of similar reports from other riders as well and the software team is actively investigating the issue. We have also shared your device ID with them for the investigation purpose. We expect this to be fixed soon in one of our upcoming software releases.
