Wish I had read community posts before purchasing...

Gotta say really turned off by this and all the positive reviews on the Karoo 2 device.

I feel like it was a lie.

I read all the reviews, and they all gush about the Karoo 2 and the amazing map directions and touch screen, and OMG, the climb screen is sooo awesome.

Then it arrived, and the first thing I tried to do was make multiple map screen layouts with different data layouts, only one map at a time but with different layouts.

I came here to read it's been 3 years with no advancement on this.

The reviews rave about the awesome updates always adjusting to users. 3 years and it still says planned.

No reviewer ever wanted more than one map layout and couldn't comment on this???

COMMON DC RAINMAKER!!!

Had I read the comments and seen how many wishlists were there forever, each of them ones that are obvious and I want to, I'd have held off.

Garmin must totally totally suck if this is better.

But Garmin has multiple map layouts. How do they pull it off? Figure it out.

Another is the request to customize the climb screen.

I'd like the option to have a climb screen but not have it pop open like turn by turn.

I'd like a bike odometer option in distance/bike.

I shouldn't have to on a bike computer navigate 10 menus to get the bike's odometer.

I also see all these "working on this" entries now and it's been years now. The few available screens with maps and their layout are the basis.

My personal opinion is that they are "working on this" on too many things that people aren't asking for. Climber is a great example - it worked out great, a wonderful addition - but fixing things that suck (phone connection, "tracking" (which isn't tracking) and other bugs aren't on their radar).
