I think it is a no go that the os is not updated for the karoo. To wait for a new model and to invest much money another time is not a solution for this subject.
I think I will go back to garmin or elemnt.

unlocked bootloader and, somewhat, open ecosystem more-so than Garmin or Element... easy.. i'll stick to old, proven, open code myself and since the team is rather active in addressing the users issues, albeit pressed, it's certainly better than what I have personally experienced with either Garmin or Wahoo.. antidotes - aren't they great? ;-) be well mate..
p.s. I am onto my second Karoo2 as the last one I busted and replaced using crash protection that Hammerhead also offer..
