Karoo 2 or older Karoo

I do not know who to send this to since there is no contact info on the Hammerhead web site so perhaps someone here will get it to the right person. My wife's new frame came in and we built it up. The only thing left is for a new bike computer. She, like me, does not need or want anything more than time, distance, and maybe speed. It took me a while to get my Karoo 1 set up the way I wanted it and that is what she needs. We tried a Sigma FOX 2 but we are not able to set that up without a smart phone and we do not do smart phones! Can the Karoo 2 be set up like my Karoo 1?

This is all, plus the map/routing, that I need and it is all that my wife needs. Can we set the Karoo 2 screen up just like this? And, can this be done without having to own a smart phone or another kind of android(sp) device?

Is there currently any type of discount for buying a second unit?

yes in K2 you have everything under control. then you have a link where it describes how to set it up.

Hi William, yes you should be able to set up the Karoo 1 without the need of a smartphone. Creating and customizing the profile is to be done on the device itself.
