    Android the same problem, everything is turned on as needed and there is no communication between devices.

    Thank you for sharing your experience with phone connectivity on the Karoo, as well as highlighting the experiences of the riders with whom you interacted. We are aware of the concern regarding multiple issues with the phone notifications, and our software team is currently investigating the issue to determine the root cause. We have also been rolling our incremental fixes to offset the concern and we are in the works of rolling another fix to this issue in our next software update as well. 

    We are in the process of consolidating more reports related to this issue and would like to request that you please direct any of your riders who contact you regarding this issue to our support id (Support@hammerhead.io) and we will be sure to assist them while also collecting the necessary insights that will help our team arrive at a fix faster!

    @HH: how long will you investigate and collect? This bug is that kind of old and since 2 years no stable solution available.
    for example:
    https://support.hammerhead.io/hc/en-us/community/posts/1260801657790-Karoo-companion-does-not-send-notification-to-Karoo-2   .... started 2 years ago and there are lots of other threads. Just search for message notification ...

    I for one had already told you about my problems with the message notification about 6 months ago, ticket was opened, you got data from me and the permission to evaluate my server logs. I dare to bet that there are also many other users who have supported you regarding this issue.
    I am so disappointed by the company philosophy, not only because of the above point, also the many other issues, whether to turn off the rerouting because it can lead to problems or a reversal of a route ( reverse route ) which was now after 3 years finally implemented. You just don't listen to the users, it does not matter, the money for the device you have in your pocket.

    I will try to sell my K2 on a sales platform in the hope that the buyer does not read the threads in the community here before, which I would have done better. Then I would have been saved some trouble and frustration.

    Do not worry Henryk.

     You're more likely to encounter a black Hells Angel on your rides than a Hammerhead solution!

    even after the last update, which should fix the problem, ... "quote": We are writing to inform you that we’ve made important improvements to reliably display your phone notifications on Karoo 2

    I had several notifications on my mobile during different rides, not one was displayed on the K2 ... yeah I know ... p.e.b.k.a.c. ..

    problem exists between keyboard and chair ...
