Hello Antonie. A mobile phone repair shop fixed my Karoo 1.

I have the same problem. Did you hear back from support?

Support offered a trade up program for the Karoo 2. But no chance for a repair or spare parts. An iPhone repair shop fixed the issue.

I contacted support, but as the Karoo 1 is obsolete there is no official way to get it repaired or receive spare parts. A phone repair shop fixed it for me but after 4 months of riding it broke again. The physical stress by plugging in and out and maybe the vibration while riding makes this a problem waiting to happen. The phone shop can fix it once again but they say it will always happen again and they can't fix it a third time.
