Stripped Allen Head Bolt.

Hi There 

May I ask what is the size of screw bolt (M3 or M4) securing the Karoo2 mount on handlebar?  I accidentally stripped/rounded the Allen head bolts with allen key in the Karoo 2 box.    Need to know the spec of the bolt to get the proper extraction tool and get an replacement bolt.

  It’s a M4x15. You might be able to force a T10 (or even T15) Torx key into the rounded head to remove the damaged screw.

  The bracket screw has a thread dimension of M4x0.7 and a length is 16mm. Also, the head type is a Low Profile Socket cap.

  I hope this answers your questions.

Also, I can help you with getting the stripped screw off from the mount if it is stuck on the mount.

  This appears to be common issue. I had the same a couple of weeks back, had to drill out the screw, which melted the mount at the same time. It's in the bin now, I used an old Garmin mount and the adaptor to get me back on the road.

  Is there a screw kit? Seems my nut fell out or the screw is stripped in the bracket mount.
