Huge black border around numbers / values in data fields = waste of screen real estate :-)

In map view + data fields, data fields are stealing a large portion of the screen due to huge font size for data display and - particularly annoying - huge borders around the actual data display fields.

Small border (std or as additional option) and/or sizeable fonts FTW :-)

  Hey Reinhard. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the data field page. 

  We have tried to maintain the same font size across the unit and have taken the visibility of our aged users as well. I have taken your suggestion of small borders around the edges of the data field and will forward it to our Product team for them to look into it. 

  Meanwhile, if you find any issue with the visibility of the map, you can choose to ride with no data screen on the map page.

  Yes please having an option for smaller font size would be great. Small Borders at the bottom of the data field will just had more space for map. 

  I noticed also than when following a strava starred segment the space allowed to the map gets smaller, but I wish it would  be still centred on rider position. i.e still able to see the arrow of the rider.

  In other words for now it is like Segment windows goes front of Map. Instead i wish the space for map and segment will be split into two

  I have aging eyes and find the information is fine but the field names difficult to ready,  I use 1.5 power reading glasses when needed and need to memorize the field names.  Not sure if its a size thing or brightness, color or font.

  Yes, please free this unused space!!
  Those huge black borders take away a big part of the map when using two data fields above the map! It does not add to readability to have these large chunks of black nothing.
  Of course having a smaller font as an option would also be good.
  The first and easiest step is to please just make the data boxes smaller so that they fit the height of the numbers.

  Hi, The data fields have lots of waisted space. For example, when you zoom in and out of a Wahoo Roam to display less fields the FONT becomes massive, rather than staying the same size. One of the reason I purchased a Roam in the first place, so I didn't need to bring my reading glasses.  Not that I have switched to the K2, it would be nice to see "ha ha" this option also
