Small improvement on speed display (vs average speed)
Hi,
On my first bike computer ever (I think it was a cateye - with a wire to the front wheel) there was a nifty feature:
Rather than just showing the current speed, it was also showing a little arrow pointing up ▲ or down ▼ to show if your average speed was going up (▲) or down (▼). Riding around your average speed was showing as a fat hyphen ▬
Simple feature, but a very nice one. Maybe an idea for the future!

Phil we had this feature until about 9 months ago when Hammerhead updated ( ruined ) the UI. It was in the form of a traffic light notification, but whilst I suspect it wasn’t 100% accurate it was a nice feature. The new UI as well as locking you into a night time colour mode also scrapped this feature.

@Phils - I fondly remember that feature and as @Colin Vincent remarked, it had been integrated into the Karoo through a few generation of software. I’m actually not sad to see Hammerhead having dropped it as the lag time was amazingly slow and annoying. You are either riding above, at or below your average speed AT that precise moment, so that should be a relatively easy graphical to display. And if HH ever brings it back, I’d prefer to see the arrows and have its response to speed changes more reflective of the moment.
