Ascent data still dropping out after getting wet

I've contacted the team to flag this, again, but wanted to post here in case others are having a similar experience.

My K2 is working a dream until it gets wet from snow/heavy rain/road spray. I'm just in from a ride and it lost 600ft from a ride that was circa 2100ft climbing. It seemed to drop after I went on a two mile wet ascent with lots of spray.

I calibrated before leaving and installed the update yesterday. This really saddens and frustrates me as the unit seems so good other than this - but accuracy is important.

Hoping this can be remedied. Could it be an issue with the small holes at the top underneath of the unit - is the barometric pressure/altimeter in here? Is the wet/snow interfering?

A little bit of variation is one thing but the number difference today is huge.

Thanks Hari, appreciate that. Just in from another ride, a dry one, and all seems in order (slightly generous on the ascent data but nothing too bad). I’m sure it’s a wet weather issue. Thanks again for your response and looking forward to hearing more.

P.S in case helpful to add to the ticket alongside the .gpx and .fit already provided, the Build Number is 1.184.978.12 and I’m running firmware 1.14.7
