Same here. Unable to mount it on my 3T aeroghiaia dropper with a diameter of 31.8mm. Had to revert back to the Karoo 1 mount with Garmin type locking.

Also no possibility to mount on my Canyon Aeroad.

Sure hope more options will come soon.

Here's a list of all non-Karoo 2 standard mounts that we can recommend as of now. We are also working on aero mounts and 3rd party support.

Not sure what makes you feel that the Garmin mount is "risky locking mech," I (and many, many) cyclists have been using that mechanism for many years without issue. I'm not sure that was a wheel worth reinventing.

The Garmin adapter that came with my K2 is a much looser fit in my Garmin mount than my Garmin was.  It's very easy to accidentally turn the K2 in the mount when trying to press the lower buttons.

Ah, it's the adapter itself that's the issue. Sorry about that, I misunderstood.

I received the Karoo 2 today and mounted it on the racing bike. I also want to use it on my mountain bike and use the Garmin adapter for that. The connection from the Garmin adapter to the Garmin holder is very loose (as mentioned earlier). So my idea was to fix the Garmin adapter on the Garmin holder (with screws and maybe glue) and adapt the Garmin adapter to the model of the original Karoo 2 holder (see picture). I'll hope this will work and make it a good alternative.

I adapted the Garmin adapter and fixated it on the bikeholder. I've only changed the left side for stability and it works great. It is very stable and the buttons can be used without any problem.I now can pull out the Karoo 2 on the same way as the original Karoo 2 bikeholder. When I'm turning it ccw with the two clicks I'm able to move it out to the front of the bike.

I'm still very happy with my solution. It works really fine.
