As a follow up, when I view this ride on the Karoo 2 I don't get the map display of the ride, just the stats. When I view all the other rides, I get the map and the stats. I know the GPS was on because my map display was fine during the ride and my Live Track link worked whenever I checked, all the way to the ride end. It just had trouble saving the route when I ended.

If the fit file is not complete in any way it won’t upload to the server. I’ve had it several times either because the batt went flat before I ended the ride or very occasionally something stopped working as you had. I had to write of the rides as far as Strava etc was concerned although they were shown on the Karoo.

Joe - can you share the FIT file with us and we could try and correct them for you? Also, if you haven't tried it yet - you can export the file by connecting to you mac or PC and then manually upload to strava.

Thanks you so much. I followed the instructions and copied my fit file to my mac and uploaded to Strava where it looks completely normal. Should I leave the Developer Options set to On? I don't know why the file wouldn't finish saving and upload but it's nice to know that I can get it via USB.

BTW, I really love using the Karoo 2 on my bike. It's SOOOO much better than my Wahoo Elemnt and Roam. The map is incredible and the GPS tracking is right on and very immediate. Keep up the good work improving a great device.

    Thanks, Joe.

Developer mode will go off only if you do another factory reset. You can keep it on as of now without disturbing it. Great to hear your sentiments on the Karoo 2, hope you continue to have amazing rides!

I had this issue a few times lately.

Seems like some of the recent updates have included a lot of bugs.

I'm actually really angry about it and have some videos of the buggy laggy Karoo (version 1) struggling to even rename a ride.
