SIM Card for Karoo2 in Switzerland

Ich installed a surplus Swiss SIM Card (provider: Salt) with a subscription voice and data plan in my Karoo 2. It should be a 4G network.

I get a grey triangle in the upper status bar. So obviously I rightly placed the card and entered the correct PIN, but it seems the Karoo 2 does not connect. Or how do I interpret a grey triangle? When I manually select available networks, I get two other providers, but not Salt.

I ran through the provider's APN settings.

Is GSM/WCDMA/LTE the correct network type?

  hey felix,

  ich hatte ebenfalls einige probleme, meine sim card zum laufen zu bekommen. normalerweise erfolgt eine automatische APN-konfiguration via sms, wenn man das in einem handy macht. so eine funktionalität gibt es im karoo aber nicht. deshalb muss du die APN-setting selbst vornehmen. dein provider hat eine website mit all diesen informationen:

  Many thanks! It is working now. Now, it would be great to have a phone app for the Karoo 2!
