Garmin Connect sync?

Using the K2 I don't naturally expect my data on the Garmin platform, but after years of connected data there (along with Strava) it would be nice if we could also sync ride data back to the Garmin platform.  Zwift does this along with strava and training peaks and it's very convenient.  getting my weekly Garmin updates with such small volume are kinda bumming me out even though my mileage is quite different courtesy of Karoo.

  However this is cumbersome...
  I don't understand why Hammerhead and Garmin are not synced.
  What I do now is just launching both (HH + Garmin Fenix and deleting the garmin one once it synced to Strava...).

  I just download the .fit files and upload to Garmin Connect manually once a week or so. It's just another annoyance to add to the increasing list of annoyances with the device.

  To have this in place, there has to be a desire for HH to do it which they may not BUT also a desire on Garmins part to allow it - which they may very well not want for obvious reasons.
  I don’t believe Wahoo have this either so surely it is a case of user who wish to do this, find a less ideal solution or buy garmin products?
