Turn-By-Turn Notifications - Can They Be Customised?

Can the following TBT parameters be customised on Karoo 2?

1. Volume of beep?

2. The distance from next turn that the notification appears?

3. The number of beeps/warnings?

4. Distances shown in yards, not feet [a UK thing]

  Hi Geof, Sorry to say but as of now, there are no options to customize the TBT parameters that you have mentioned and it is not possible to see the Distance in Yards with the existing imperial and metric unit system on Karoo 2. That being said, you can customize the volume of the Bluetooth Audio under the "Settings< Bluetooth Audio< Volume Settings".

  I would also like to understand the point (2) and confirm if "seeing a full cuesheet for your entire route, from any screen in-ride' is what can help your request. Let me know if this is not what you meant!

  Geof, excellent ideas! Was asking myself the same questions a couple of days ago...

  @Hari: Point 2 is simply about a preference... when a lot is happening around you, the 150m warning „beep“ is recognised (sure), but it gets forgotten easily... it would be great to have the freedom to individualise it a bit more... 1st beep 150m before cue/turn... 2nd beep 100m... 3rd... the number shall be configured freely... and if you only want one beep then you simply leave the other fields un-used... 👌🏻

  Another feature would also be great: Making a difference between „left-beep „ and „right-beep“ for instance..."left-beep" is two times in a row, "right-beep" is one long beep...
  This would make life much easier as you get the information on two channels (audio + visual) and therefore gives you a bit more focus on the road and more safety!...

  @Hari : 

  About changing/customizing TBT directions:

  When following a route, the next street name is irrelevant for me. Also in Europe/Belgium you sometimes would have to stop to find the street name. Yet the street name takes up the most place on the TBT directions.

  The direction that i need to follow is more important. Yet the symbol of the direction is the smallest on the TBT instructions. So i think it would be better to make this bigger.

  I would love to see a possibility to minimize the turn notifications, as it takes far to much of the map area.

  I get distracted of the big yellow notification, as I won't to see the road on the map. I don't need the big yellow notification.

  Much smaller would be more useful.
