I am having the exact same issue.  I started my ride at 93% battery, 53 minutes in I got 'low battery warning'.  To make it worse I was trying to use a course for navigation.  It's now the second ride I've lost due to this issue.  There have been a host of other performance woes such as elevation not calculating, the strava sync issues, and extremely slow charging.

I was the biggest fan of Karoo with the hopes it had promised, with the continual performance issue and the lack of carrying support such as phone notifications to the Karoo 1 I feel like I've been duped.

It happened for a thrid time in a row on Friday.  Again, after being very frustrated I began thinking about was has changed since this was a sudden issue and was not driven by a single SW upgrade.  I realized that I turned off battery saver because I liked controlling that myself (I was turning the screen off myself as much as battery saver was).  After I turned battery saver mode back on I was able to do a 4 1/2 hour ride and a 2 hour ride without this issue surfacing. I believe this is attributed to a bug in SW with battery saver.  Without trying to sound sarcastic, I'd say right now if you have battery saver turned off that should be called battery bleed mode.

This is what I've found so far, others please let me know if you've had this drain issue even when battery saver mode was turned on?
