barfly mount broke off

The barfly mount of my hammerhead (1) broke off again. I would like to order 2 new barfly's and 2 new mounts. Is the new barfly and mount that is produced for the hammerhead 2 also compatible with hammerhead 1? Otherwise I would like to order the old version.

  I'm not a HH employee - but I'm curious. How/where is your mount breaking? The one that came with my K2 seems quite sturdy.

  Sigeb - that not so good. We are working on to get free replacement organised for the Karoo 2 users. Meanwhile, may I know if you followed the instructions as described in the below article - it takes two clicks before pulling it out.

  Hi Micheal, I believe the k2 comes with a different mount and barfly so probably the problem is solved with the new one. If there is a little bit of play between the mount and barfly, the karoo starts to vibrate a bit, which in turn increases the clearance between the mount and barfly.
