Couple of things:

1. when using navigation, how do you stop the navigation without stopping the ride? I had to change route whilst out and it was very irritating that it kept trying to re-route me, I just wanted to cancel the navigation.

2. When in a ride can you access any of the menus again without ending the ride?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  1. Not to my knowledge. Sadly, even though the Karoo is meant to be an all-done-on-the-device type solution, a lot of features are still not there. For example, the only way to add a new location to navigate to is to long press on the map.

  Not to mention that there is no resume later facility either...

  2. I had this during my first ride yesterday. Thankfully, as I discovered today, there is a way to do it- I believe it is done via long pressing the lower right button.

  Press both upper buttons and pres X for stop navigation

  Hi Ali,

  I can see the option to add a different route on the Quick Action Menu, but how do you remove the current route i.e. stop TBT navigation?

  Matt, if you press the same top two buttons you will get the option to remove a route (if the route was added), or if you move to a maps screen and hit the pause button - you will see an 'X' to remove the ongoing route.

  How do I take the karoo 2 off its mount?  It sticks on the mount quite securely, but there doesn't seem to be any instructions about how to take it off.
