Constant ‘Phone Disconnected’ Notification

My iPhone 12 Mini does not stay connected while on a ride. It is paired correctly with Karoo 2 and is connected at first. But once I put the phone away in my jersey pocket, I get the disconnect notification soon thereafter.

  Hi Chris, this is a known issue and we are aware that this needs to be better. At this time, it is to be believed as a software reliability issue under investigation.

  Thanks Ali, I believe this is working now. I rode yesterday and it didn’t seem to disconnect at all. I was able to receive text and call alerts fine. That said, it was in a front chest pocket of a thermal jacket. I still meed to test it in a back jersey pocket to be completely certain. Thanks!
