Karoo 2 Mount options for external battery

For the ultra-distance crowd a longer mount is required in order to get an external battery connected. There is not enough room between the headset and the stem. I would prioritize the ability to use a third party cue-sheet before this as I can solve the external battery issue with third party mounts once the Garmin adapter is available for individual purchase. My included one is in a different location.

  I don't quite follow all of your post, but a USB-C cable with a 90º connector works pretty well with the supplied mount. The other end obviously goes into a powerbank inside bar/frame/top tube bag:

  This is just a 0.5 m USB-C to USB-C 90º cable by UGREEN bought from Amazon UK.

  The length seems ideal (not too long/not too short) and the other end is also USB-C to go into my Mophie power bank (which has USB-A and USB-C ports). It's also rated at 3A so will support reasonably fast charging from a 2.5A/5V supply. Seems fairly robust and has a braided outer, just like the supplied Hammerhead one.

  If you use an Apidura frame/top tube bag, the USB-C connector will easily fit through the protected cable port on these bags.

  You're welcome.

  The photo on the Amazon page I linked to shows a USB-A to USB-C cable, but mine is definitely a USB-C to USB-C cable.

  So now for a long Audax I have to manage min 4 cables!
  - USBC to USBC as above, can also be used with compact 18W wall charger at cafe/sleep stop to top up power bank
  - Lightning to USBC for iPhone
  - USBA to micro usb for charging rear/backup light
  - USBA to proprietary for Exposure front light
  My frame bag now looks like the back of my desk! Any tips for cable management anyone?

  I can't vouch for the quality of something like this, but it may help with the cable management issues, Justin:

  You're still going to need to get a 90º adapter to charge the Karoo 2 whilst on the move due to the position of the charging port/proximity to the front of the stem.

  Some lights - like the Lezyne Strip Drive Pro - just plug directly into a USB-A port with no cable required. I use an Exposure Blaze on the rear but also carry a Lezyne Strip Drive Pro as backup.

  So glad I found this thread. I ordered a similar 90 degree cable (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VJNQT6F/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1), also from UGREEN on Amazon.com - but this one should be USB-A to USB-C as my power bank requires USB-A. In addition, this was the only 90 degree cable I could find that was 1.5 feet (0.5 meters) long. The other UGREEN ones were at least 3 feet (1 meter) long which would be unnecessary on my bike. Will report back after I get it tomorrow on whether this one works well.
