Sensor Combability
CompletedHi!
We're seeing a lot of new type of sensors such as Core Body Temperature sensors that half of the world tour is using now but also Supersapiens glucose sensors. These are by today integrated in the Garmin system so that they can be seen/read while riding.
Does these sensors work with the Karoo 2?

There's lot to be said about this but more importantly I wonder what happen when SRAM bought Hammerhead. It feels like hammerhead lost it soul.
Regarding the Core sensor it was marked as planned and I even got confirmation about it to be released within two quarters from now and now it's not even on the road map when the development started and groundwork have been laid.
Such rapid and strong change in development plans highly affects the customers expectations and the view of a community driven device to no better. The Karoo is still a good device but the identity of the company is becoming more and more unclear, a company that listening to the users and strive for innovation or just do what is in SRAMs interests?

If this is true and they've shifted focus, then I'm very dissapointed to hear this news. How they can suddently shift priorities to focus on e-bikes and ignore what users really want and have been asking for a while as far as sensor and trainer intergration is beyond understanding. We appear to be losing rather than gaining features which is a shame for such a promising product. Let's hope someone at SRAM wakes up, listens to its customers, and allows Hammerhead to return to their development roadmap. Time will tell.

Hi all,
I hope that the Hammerhead Team is changing their roadmap, to add support for the Core Body Temp Sensor. Anyways does anybody know of an opensource project that makes the support available? The wearOS App of Core itself is opensource. So it should be doable. https://github.com/CoreBodyTemp/wearos-appBest regards,
Timo
