Feature request: Units selection
CompletedIt would be great (and probably quite simple to implement) to be able select preferred units in a more granular way. Not all users want all statute, or all metric. For example, I want statute for route length, and for speed, but metric for sub-mile distances, and for height. Metric for temperature. Statute for weight. Metric for height.
It's really annoying for the unit to force you to use units that aren't those that you'd intuitively use.

That's brilliant! The only thing that's missing is the (admittedly, rather odd) requirement to use miles, but meters rather than feet for distances to a junction. That might seem a bit of an odd request, but in the UK we're pretty-much all metric, other than using miles for long distances (because they're on road signs).

Yes, really good to see this finally being implemented, Ali. I know this has been a very popular request for a long time now.
Technically, "Mixed" should be part of the radio button group since it's neither "Metric" or "Imperial" if you make a custom selection. At the moment, no radio button is selected when you make a custom selection, which is slightly odd UI.
I redrew it for you. You might want to share this with your dev team:

@Steve I like what you outlined on the right image and I agree with you. After all that's the purpose of how a "Radio button" generally should work - let you select only one item from the group of options.
While what Ali presented is that I could select Metric and then go into Mixed and over there select all imperial units. That's illogical view. Even tho as a user who set it this way, I know what I'm about to. I'm just saying that from UI perspective it's odd.
