Route planning directionality
AnsweredI have an existing route that has me going out (lets say southbound) and coming back (northbound) on the same road. I have a number of waypoints along the way. Tomorrow I want to use that same route, but take a detour on the southbound leg to pick up a friend. I don't see how I can distinguish a waypoint on the southbound leg from a northbound leg waypoint. Maybe the waypoints could be numbered (by mouseover or when you click on one)???

Hey Scott!
Arrows or numbers would be good- we have received that feedback and we do have several Dashboard enhancements planned for the future. Thanks for the suggestion - the more people that give feedback, the more it moves up in priority!
There is a way to see which leg is the return - open up the route you are working in Dashboard. Click on the "up" arrow beside the elevation/ascent number at the lower right of the screen- this will bring up the elevation graph. As you run your mouse along the graph, you will see a dot move along the plotted course on the map. That gives you an easy way to see the direction the course is going and also, in this case, which leg is at the beginning and the end of your route along the same street. Hope that helps!
