Since recent update: Cadence-function of my powermeter (Assioma) is gone over ANT+ (but works over Bluetooth fortunately)

    Hello Tobias!

Thanks for the feedback about your cadence not showing via ANT+ now. I will forward that up and check with some coworkers to see if they encounter that as well - I have a couple with the Favero Assioma pedals. If you have not already, try unpairing the pedals completely from the K2/K1 then pair them again via ANT+.

I am glad BLE still works, but yes ANT+ does use less power and can be more stable.

I think it might not be a widespread issue (?). I can confirm that my Assioma Duos work fine over ANT+ with the latest firmware (power and cadence transfer)

I have also had cadence dropouts from my Assioma Duos. Today, with the latest firmware (apr 8) my cadence dropped out while riding. Power remained fine. I rode like that for another 20 minutes until I reached a pause and then turned my sensors off and back on and everything was fine for the rest of the ride. This kind of thing has happened occasionally for quite a while now. Sometimes when the cadence drops out the power readings are nonsense, like the data fields are jumbled.

I’m having a similar issue with the most recent update. My duos work perfectly fine as I have used them regularly on zwift and have in the past not had issues on the Karoo 2. Now they will not hold connections with ant+ at all and drop immediately after connection and then continually search. My work around was to use a Bluetooth connection which works for the power but there is not cadence information. This has been the case for my last two rides.

I thought this was just a one off but a few rides and crank power meter is merely showing power. I use a single side Specialized Power Crank.

Is there also a limit to ANT+ connections? I've found moving my HRM to Bluetooth means that i don't end missing a connection. On one ride a week ago, power refused to connect over ANT+ until I removed something else! Now, i have to wait around 5 minutes before setting off before everything connects too but they have been stable throughout the ride once connected.

Right now I ride with in order of search priority:

    Garmin Light ANT+

    Power Meter ANT+

HRM BLE (I use Polar or Garmin chest belts)

    DI2 ANT+

    Garmin Varia radar ANT+

    Garmin Speed Sensor ANT+
