    This issue just happened on my Karoo 2 after the latest software update.

    Not to be pedantic but both of the "downloading a FIT .... " articles above are strictly for the Karoo.  My Karoo 2 doesn't have a "developers option to enable!

    Hi Ali and Akhil,

    So, although there's a manual workaround are there any updates as to whether this is a HH or Strava issue? Your first post feels dismissive that it's not a HH issue, YET, I just tested my Wahoo Bolt, and it automatically uploaded (via wifi) to Strava without issue. I suspect those with Garmin's are still having successful wireless uploads. 

    Is this impacting all HH users? Have you investigated the issue beyond just checking the servers?

    My last two rides have failed to automatically upload to Strava, and when I attempt to upload manually from the HH rides page I get "Cannot upload this FIT file (error: other error)". Downloading the .fit file and manually uploading to Strava was successful. Appears the recent update could be the problem.

    I tried uploading two rides to Strava today and they were not posted.....after downloading the rides to gps files and then trying to load to Strava, I received the follow message:

    If upon attempting to upload a GPS file you see an error message telling you that "Time information is missing from file," this means that your file is incompatible for upload to Strava

    Have not had any issues with timestamps or uploading to Strava.....is there a fix?

    Same here will not upload automatically and if I download the fit file then try to sync Strava says fit file is incompatible.  Seems like an HH file problem?  All my other devices sync fine.

    Hi All, it is not affecting all the HH users and only some account connected with Strava. We are monitoring our part and as soon as it is confirmed it is us, I will update the Post here, until then we hope it is resolved at the other end.

    Had to follow workaround listed in this article, workaround #1 worked:

    Also could not import a ride from a strava route / link.  Same result mentioned above "Cannot upload this FIT file (error: other error)".  

    Not really buying this being a Strava problem...  But at least it is working now, uploading a ride, syncing segments and importing a route.

    I am having this issue as well since the software update. Neither fix described above by ted c worked for me so for now it is a manual process downloading the .FIT file and uploading to Strava. Is there a fix in the works, Ali?

    Just experienced the Strava upload issue on my ride tonight. My ride uploaded to TrainingPeaks, but got the Strava client error on the Strava side. Another workaround I did find is downloading the workout .fit file from the TrainingPeaks website, then uploading to Strava via their website.

    Oddly enough, today's ride automatically uploaded to Strava. Difficult to say where the problem lies.

    Like Bruce, I ran a test ride file today, and it automatically updated to Strava (which it hadn't done since the 3.25 update).

    my issue : my karoo2 will not upload ride to either the hammerhead dashboard or the strava dashboard.   I did the update 2 rides ago and everything seemed to work except that it would not upload to either via my hotspot on my phone but did upload perfectly when I returned to my homes internet.  

     

    I try to grab the file via the android file transfer but would not respond on my home computer.  I would do a full factory reset, but as I cant up load my last ride or move it off the karoo 2 I would lose it

    Gosh, I hope this isn't widespread, I just ordered my Karoo yesterday to replace my Elemnt which is still working flawlessly.

    Hi all, this was affecting many riders simultaneously over the weekend but has calmed down now. It was not an issue on Hammerhead server, neither was it confirmed on Strava side. If you are still facing issues with any particular rides, please send an email to support@hammerhead.io

    I hadn't paid attention.  But my strava uploads also haven't been working for a couple of weeks.  Today I hooked up my k2 for the first time and it didn't either.  So I tried all the advice.  Logging off of everything, disconnecting strava and even going to Strava apps where it lets you revoke access to force again authorization.  Nothing worked.  A couple of times I've had to reauthorize and still the dashboard won't sync.

    I've not tried manually updating by download and upload.  I've no doubt it'll work and just don't want to go through the hassle for all the rides.  The last time it synced for me was April 2nd.  A string of syncs before that and then again some that didn't.  I pay more attention to the ridewithgps and they've all worked fine always.

    My strava sync worked perfectly until the last download a few days ago.  My last 2 rides will not upload.  I have disconnected strava in the dashboard, logged out of my karoo 2 account and strava, logged back into both and reconnected my strava account to my K2 and nothing.  It is definitely my K2 as my wife was on the same ride with me today and her Garmin 830plus uploaded immediately when we finished.

    I have the issue too. Is there a way to get some notification when it is sorted? Was sick last week so only noticed today. Also after update last night.

    I disconnected and reconnected Strave in the Dashboard and it worked fine yesterday's ride.
