    Thank you for posting here, We are aware of this particular issue and we are working on a fix to avoid such events on your Karoo :) We are positive that this will be fixed in the upcoming update.

    Same happened to me today. Luckily only after 5km. Whole screen was unresponsive. Suddenly it said: No route loaded. Is there a way to recover the data?

    And: Is there a way to pause safely?

    Somewhat similiar - I had issues with my sensors and couldn't get them back. I decided to restart the device, hoping that the ride will be recovered and continue. What happened instead is that the current ride was finished and new one was started. I didn't lose data, but this was somewhat unexpected. Other devices I was using (Garmin, Wahoo) continue recording the ride after restart

    This has happened to me 3 times so far (twice on the same ride) since the 1.198.1007.12 update and here's how I recovered my rides:

    1. Enable developer mode: Go to Settings -> About -> scroll down to build number and tap on it 7 times or so.

    2. Download Android File Transfer

    3. Connect Karoo to your computer

    4. On Karoo, go to Settings -> Developer Options -> Select USB Configuration.  Set this to MTP.

    5. Android File Transfer should start on your computer (open it manually if it doesn't).

    6. There's a directory named FitFiles which hopefully has the .fit file from your lost ride.

    Hey all.  I see it has been 6 months since the first post and this happened to me in my last couple of rides with my new Karoo 2.  Did the update fix it or do I need to wait more?  It seems no one else has posted recently.  If it is fixed, what do I need to do to my unit?  Thanks.
