Another data loss thread

Had an issue with long coffee break, power meter would not wake up ended up long pressing to get to menu, once I got to sensor screen it woke up but then lost my entire ride.
Wife has HH2 same as me and identical power meters and she had no issues.
Others are reporting various issues around data loss and i feel this should be escalated above other issues, updates as its the main reason to own trip computer and frankly not good enough for this to be happening.. I'm in a medal a month and now thinking about recording ride on another device which is ridiculous.

Thanks for posting here, We are aware of the reports of rides being lost due to device crashes, Our team is working on a fix and we are preparing to have it rolled out in the next upcoming release :)
In the meantime, You can recover your lost ride by checking the internal storage of your Karoo.

Retrieved half off ride, other fit file must be corrupt.
Look I applaud the latest Firmware rollout but feel a slower rollout with better QC I mean did anyone test wakeup from break as it was fine before latest firmware. Love the Karoo 2 but quality has to be better than this. Personally given up on connection to phone was working fine when I received it in December but its now frankly rubbish like a device from 10 years ago, shouldn't have to keep fiddling ,it should just work.
My point is I would rather wait for stable updates than new features that brick device.

Hi Nigel, completely agreed and we would not want you to wait longer than required. At this time, the software is getting tested by the ATG community and so far looking good. It will be released to general availability by noon EST tomorrow as per the schedule, unless there is a blocker picked from our test group.
