    Hello Jerome!

Thanks for your suggestions about Strava Live Segments!

Live Segments are an important focus for the team right now - specifically the way this data is presented. Look for enhancements in these areas in future updates. I do not have specific dates to share at this point, but know that those are improvements we are working on!

Thanks for the suggestions, and for being part of the community!

+1 for more flexibility with segment layout, data fields and font size. I used a Wahoo ELEMNT for years before switching to the Karoo2 so I am admittedly accustomed to that segment presentation. I like some aspects of Karoo2's graphical take on segments but I also struggle to see the data fields, especially when I'm working at 100% effort on a short segment. Also, I agree with Jerome that it would be easier to process smaller distance units at the beginning and end of segments. For example, my ELEMNT transitions to displaying feet before a segment's start and end. That makes it much easier to know when to GO and when my pain is coming to an end. During a segment, I see distance represented in miles and that's fine. However, to maximize my performance on a segment, I really want a more granular number to count down my start/end. To me, 100 feet is easy to process whereas 0.019 miles doesn't convey the same meaning. Personally, I find it very difficult to process the bar graph countdown to segment start; I have no idea where the actual segment start is. The bar just doesn't convey the same meaning as 300 ft... 100ft... 30ft... GO!

Another nice ELEMNT feature is a field that calculates the predicted finish time. This is extremely motivating during longer segment record attempts because it lets me know if my overall time is on target, even if my performance at various points in the segment differs from previous attempts.

I really like the idea of an 'estimated time to completion' of the segment.

Yes estimated time to end is definitely missing. Based on the closest kom / carrot/ wolf/ pr most closed position to the live effort

IMO the time in seconds is better and I like it more than mm:ss format.

But agreed on the meters format if it's below 1km.

Hi, I have Tested the new in ride Strava live segment these morning and I am wondering if you guys have been going out to test it? The visibility of the numbers is worst than before. When you're hunting a KOM in a painful effort, once again what matters first is your time forward or behind, It seems that you're taking care so much about the nice graphics of the live segments but once again it's impossible to catch at a glance the informations you need during your effort.
I am really disappointing as I can imagine that we gonna have to deal with this presentation for a while now.
Anyway why don't you give the possibility to personalize the layout of the strava live segment?

Logged on to give feedback about the new SLS, here's a good place to do it.

What Went well: I was thinking to request, as a logical next step, to put strava into the drawer, you did this, and now the interface approaching to a segment, buttons/swiping between ovelapping segments, the clearer celebrations, these are amazing steps forward.  Icons are much more distinct - I can now distinguish the wolf from PR, thank you! <3  I'm super happy as a customer at the fast and meaningful iterations from Hammerhead.  Look forward to update day every two weeks :)

    What regressed:

    1. The black on orange was low contrast, now black on dark orange is even lower contrast.  In sunshine I could not make out the black-on-dark-orange numbers.
    2. The tabs in the drawer overlay additional space, covering an extra data field.  SLS now puts me down to 5 out of 10 data fields in a segment, from 6 of 10.  Suggestion: minimise the tabs to a few pixels after 5 seconds.

    On that yellow...

    1. the yellow dots are unnecessarily large and crowd the display - the smaller white pin was sufficient here.
    2. The yellow under-profile doesn't solve a problem I have, the white line was sufficient.  See below.

    Feature request:

    1. Highlight steep gradients with patterned or coloured columns under the elevation line.
