What are your favourite strava segment hunting data fields?
AnsweredShout out to my Karoo 2 because it shows so much data on the screen! I use a 9 or 10 field display, and get 8 more for free, awesome (ride time, battery, time of day, strava time, wolf, carrot, segment distance done and left).
When I'm hunting strava segments, there are restrictions: only 6 data fields are visible, none can be graphical (they get hidden by the segment overlay unfortunately)...
Here's my top 6, what are yours?
| speed | HR |
| MPA | power |
| cadence | grade |
I wish I could have the xert rainbow, or power + zone, or the Karoo graphical power field, but alas none of these are possible. If I could fit 8 fields, zone and vertical speed would be them.

I might go a bit offtopic here but not that much tho.
So since you've mentioned it - when the strava segment graph pops up, it overlays the bottom ~30% of the screen.
On one hand, I kinda like this layout. But on the other hand, I don't like it from two reasons:
- you have to sacrifice the bottom data fields. Sure I can swipe it down and then back up...but who wants to do that.
- the letters are teen tiny and I can barely see it.
I think I would prefer to have separate screen only for strava segments on which I could set my data fields...essentially just like Garmin has it for instance.

Good suggestions, guys! Thanks - we get many of our best ideas right here in the community!
As you know, we have made several refinements to Strava Live Segments and the drawer system. Many of those are to meet the requests of our users. We are always watching for feedback and looking for ways to make it even better!

I'm still figuring out which ones are best to use but at the moment I have:
- 3 sec speed
- MPA
- Power - circular zones
- Heart rate - circular zones
Though I can't see the latter as it gets covered up by the strava live segment graph... I like the circular zones UI but it might be nice if you could scroll the data screen BEHIND the strava live segment graph. This would be a better alternative to fiddling around collapsing and uncollapsing the strava live segement graph into the drawer whilst I'm in the middle of a big effort on a segment. I think I could manage scrolling.
Note that collapsing the strava live segment graph into the drawer does serve a purpose, there are times when I don't want to have it on screen and I just want to take it easy. So I like the addition of this new feature.
