Hammerhead,

Please fix the Dashboard Route Planning Tool. It has been broken since day one.

I've emailed support numerous times on this issue.

- The AI route engine will route you on streets, around bike paths, and is just inaccurate.

Simply add the ability to manually point-and-click a route in areas where the engine cannot calculate the correct path / route. Just like Strava has a manual mode.

  Thank you for posting, We do have plans of implementing freehand route creation on the dashboard. While we do want to implement this ASAP we do have other priorities in the bucket that is taking a higher precedence :)

  I reported this as an issue in May 2018.  It makes the Dashboard very handicapped in accurately creating a route, especially when the mapping misses such key detail as national cycle routes in places.  It then routes in an incorrect way, resulting in something far from useful.  

  How long will it take the Dashboard to get this basic functionality?  Other mapping tools seem to manage allowing a freehand section to be made, I can’t understand why HH can’t - especially after three years ...

  The Dashboard is actually a nice part of the HH package, but rarely use it to create routes now due to the lack of a simple freehand feature.

  Just do it like STRAVA!!!! ... there it works perfectly ... If you have to take a ferry or pass a dam it limits you extremely on creating a route as well as if you import a route from strava and edit it afterwards if you have a "manual line" in your route .... thats a huge limitation you should really consider fixing ...even bugs in the map can easily be ignored by a manual function! ....  check Alltrails or Strava ...

  Must agree with the above.

  Seems that at Hammerhead You have plans to fix a lot of thing but your system is still far from reliable year after year!
