Battery level indicator inaccurately shows charging
AnsweredI started my ride yesterday with my Karoo 2 yesterday and looked down and saw that the battery indicator still showed 100% and the charging symbol. I rode for at least 45 minutes before it dropped the charging symbol and started to decrease in percentage. At no point was the device plugged in during the ride. It had been completely powered off and on without being plugged in, so I'm very confused why it would think it is charging.
Obviously this leads me to question the accuracy of the battery indicator. I've already had issues with the device dying at "5%" battery indicated. Now it thinks its charging when it's not.

This week I've been playing a lot with charging using my dyno. It doesn't seem to charge at all while in a ride. The main screen battery indicator doesn't show the lightning bolt for awhile. But if you pull down the notification window it shows the lightning bolt as soon as I produce minimal mA. Eventually the main screen shows it too. But my percentage state of charge always goes down. It apparently never charges. It did work fine with the K1 and I tested it to make sure with my phone. There it's putting in up to 720mA. But has never with the K2. But I've only been using it for a week or so. Maybe it's a recent update problem. But whatever problem you're having might be connected to mine. Maybe it IS charging and the indicator is at fault.

Hey Kevin,
Thanks for posting here, It is rather odd you faced this on your Karoo-2, I would like you to perform a factory reset on the unit just to clear any junk files and observe if you still face this issue. please do drop us a ticket at support@hammerhead.io so we can look into this further :)
@Daniel, The Karoo 2 would require an input current of 2.5A at 5V to constantly charge :)
