Why the down votes to a simple question? Seems a rather miserable and unwelcoming response to an accessability question.

The device has no speaker only a beeper, this will not work.Buy a smart helmet for example Senna R1 or use a headset.

Yes Victor, I understand the Karoo to Karoo2 upgrade added the beeper - and it is only a beeper.
I was interested to learn why, with everything else going Alexa/Siri/Google Voice everywhere, and with talking satnavs being commonplace, and with the software apparently already being in the Karoo to give voice-over-BT, and the RideWithGPS App offering voice navigation, why just the beeper given Hammerhead are pushing the envelope elsewhere.

Personally on a head down, bum up speed run I'd appreciate a shout for 'left in 200metres' rather than a beep instructing me to read the screen for further info.

I imagine it would need a good sized speaker and a decent amplifier to have audio loud enough to be heard on a bike at a decent speed. Which would have battery implications. Nice to have, for sure.

Agreed, additional hardware in the Karoo that perhaps not every user wants.
However they're not huge - my mobile phone can be a speakerphone or play notifications and RideWithGPS turn-by-turn loud enough to be useful. I'd just rather have Karoo than a mobile phone on my bars.
