I'm in the UK and use a Lebara 2GB sim and have had no issues, data usage is minimum, never gone anywhere near the limit but I mainly upload my rides when I'm connected to Wi-fi.

I am in the US and use FreedomPop. I'm using about 1-1.5 MBytes an hour. This includes live tracking (which works fine) and ride upload (to HH dashboard) at the end. The freemium 25MB/month plan has been fine so far but as restrictions ease and the weather improves, I'll probably need to go to a higher plan. I can add 100MB for only $2.

Thanks guys! Sounds like a basic (UK) £5 (US$7 or so) 4GB SIM will be quite adequate for 4000hrs riding a month - not likely to happen! :)
Sounds like we get much bigger dataplans here than in the US Joe!

Hey Rob, 4000 hours riding in a month? Last I checked there are 720 hours in 30 continuous days, or was I napping again? <G>

Thanks Bob! We're all good then!
Even if it pulls down the odd s/w update :)

https://www.1pmobile.com/ is worth looking at for UK users, Rob.

    Wow Steve, bargain!
Annoyed - I just ordered a £5 a month one, but that does include £25 cashback.
