Quick Start Button Issue

Not sure if I’m the only one experiencing this but virtually every time I take my k2 off (or put on) the bars I start a ride ‘accidentally’. This isn’t as irritating when I’m about to embark on a ride, but when I’m finishing up, I usually have another accidental ride that I need to remove. Primarily it’s happening because I’ll accidentally hit the ‘D’ button when removing the unit, anyone else experiencing this?
Seeing how there is no ‘delete ride’ option - this is resulting in having to stop, end ride, save ride, then delete ride (from ride app) each time and Strava as I have auto upload.

I've had this happen a couple times, but not regularly. I also only take off my computer when it needs to be charged, so not after every ride. But you also hit on perhaps a more important issue: there's no ability to discard a ride! You have to save every ride, and with auto-uploading, that can be real annoying.

@benno thank you for this suggestion, I'll give it a shot. Typically I shut the screen off, but as soon as I touch any button its back on again.
@david Yes, I see that thread on this forum as well, hopefully its something that can be added in the future. I know the concern is fully deleting a ride accidentally, but I assume that some sort of prompt of 'are you sure before deleting' would work. Hopefully that comes down the road.
