hi on a few of my journeys i have noticed that i get audio alerts on the outward trip but nothing on return, i find the useful as you can hear the alert have a quick glance then continue specially in areas you don't know.So is there any reason it doesn't play alerts on return journeys ?

  So you have planned a route, where you use the same road on the outward trip and the return trip? In that case you should get turn instructions and audio alerts. I often do this, never had a problem with alerts on the return trip.

  In case you only planned the outward trip, you can get instructions on the return trip by navigating to your home poi or to the start of the route by pressing the A+C buttons.
