Karoo 1 Audio Alerts

I see under Audio Alerts in Settings that there is an option to enable "Radar."  Does this mean the Karoo 1 would give audio alerts when triggered by a paired Garmin Varia Radar unit?

  the K1 doesn't have a speaker it can't do audio except over a paired bluetooth device.
