    Hey James,

This feature is not customizable as of now but we will certainly explore this in future.
We follow a structured workflow to pull a feature into the software pipeline. This involves discovering the Pros and Cons from competitors, researching from customer interviews, designing and then when all these are finalized, it will be moved to development.

We value your feedback & thank you for being part of our community!

I'm sorry - what "con" could there be in displaying dates in accordance with regional norms?

Second this request please. Here in the UK we prefer the date format DDMMYY rather than what we call the American style of MMDDYY. It would be great to be able to choose.

    Thanks.

It’s not just that I cannot specify the date format. It’s worse than that - for me, Hammerhead is using the US date format in some cases and the alternate format in others. That’s just garbage.

It's crazy that such a simple thing as "date formatting" cannot be adjusted.

Please advise when we will be able to use DD/MM/YYYY formatting (ie UK & Europe standard format)

Add my request for a customizable date format - I'd like YYMMDD.

I was confused why my Karoo 2 had dd/mm/yy but my Dad's Karoo 2 had mm/dd/yy.  It turns out that if you set the units to metric then the date changes to UK.  Set the units to imperial and you'll get US date format.

Hi all, I get here looking for the same... 2 years old the post? Oh, God... Configuring a time and date format is a basic for any user. On the other hand, if you select the Spanish language on the settings on Dashboard, the date format will be DD/MM/YYYY. Maybe anybody prefers to improve his/her Spanish but having a "normal" date format :-) (Also for me is a bit crazy and confusing the MM/DD/YYYY, I do prefer DD/MM/YYYY or YYYY/MM/DD instead).

@Dakota, I know how the quality software development is, but I think that 2 years for this "silly" but basic feature, i think it's too much. Maybe you forgot to include it in the great list of loved features by users? Please, give it a boost :-)

    Thanks, best regards.

You get US format if you set mixed units. Fernando: gracias por tu sugerencia. En adelante hablaré con mi Karro2 en español!!  I am very happy with the Karoo, but agree that this is a basic feature that should have been dealt with in 2 years!

This is such . Maybe if we could have a proper English language setting and not American English, the date format could be set correctly 😂
