Automatically turn GPS on when rebooting
AnsweredI turned GPS off for an indoor ride. On my next ride, which was outdoor, I forgot that GPS was off and rode for a while before I noticed that there wasn't a map displayed. I think that the Karoo ought to automatically enable GPS each time it is turned on. It is way better to have GPS when you don't need it than not have it when you do need it.

I agree with this. If GPS was stored in a profile then this would work. Currently, though, there aren't any settings stored in profiles. Just display pages. If there could be a few settings that were profile specific then this would be great. Off the top of my head I would have GPS on/off and Auto Pause On/Off. There are probably a few others.

Hello All,
Thanks for sharing this suggestion! I can certainly understand the need for this feature. We prioritize each feature based on the number of user requests, impact on current customer base, usability, market value etc. - because of all these considerations, we are unable to provide an exact timeline, but rest assured it is on our software roadmap for development. Thank you for your patience.

I would add it should be possible to link sensors to profiles as well. If I go out on my Dolan which has a power meter I want that sensor connected. If I’m on my cube which doesn’t, I want the normal cadence sensor connected.
My mix of bikes involve different power meters, cadence and speed sensors as well as the Varia front light I only use on the DolanThe system we currently have seems to be the K2 searches for sensors even after you have a set connected. Meaning I’m having to disable and enable different sensors dependant in what bike I take out.
