count calories without a power meter only by heart rate

Come on Hammerhead, this is not okey, I just bought my new Karoo 2 and find out that there are no way to count calories withouy a power meter. 

I am very found og my new device, but no calories count???????

I have seen very many post about this, why don't you do anything.

Please come on

  Hey Frank,

  Thanks for posting!

  As you are aware the Karoo 3 currently calculated the Calories based on the data captured via a Power meter as this is a more accurate metric as compared to calculating it by HeartRate. 

  Mainly because the calculation via HR also depends on dynamic factors such as elevation, speed which do provide a less than the accurate result. We have added this to our list of improvements &implementations & I shall ensure to have your voice heard by my team :)

  Hi,

  It would be nice to have calories count based on Heart rate OR based on Power meter.
