Phone notification on Karoo 1

I know this is probably not a popular topic as most of us may have Karoo 2 now, and for those who had Karoo 1 most likely already switched (upgraded) to Karoo 2. However, I still own the Karoo 1 and wondering why the phone notification is not brought to Karoo 1? I don't believe there is a hardware limitation to do so, can we have the phone notification added for Karoo 1 user?

  Phone notifications are not capable on the K1, the hardware does not allow for it, therefore there is no chance of this happening.

  Hi Kenneth,

  There are no plans to bring phone notifications to the Karoo 1. It is related to the version of Android that the Karoo 1 is built on. The Karoo 2 uses a later version that allows this feature to be enabled.
