Feature Request: Allow iOS App HealthFit to access rides via Dashboard (API)
AnsweredHi,
I have a feature request. As long as you don't have your own iOS app it thus lacking native Apple Health integration, it would be super awesome if you would allow the developer of HealthFit to access ride data via the Dashboard. (I don't want to go the Strava route for health integration.) This way syncing to other partners would be possible as well.
Kind regards
Marco

I take it all back and claim the opposite. An "integration" of Health Fit is pointless, because the Karoo 2 .fit files imported do not show calories and therefore syncing to Apple Health makes no sense. The developer thinks that the Karoo 2 .fit files are broken, but Strava shows calories. No idea.

Hey Marco,
The Karoo 2 currently calculates the calories based on the data from a power meter as it is more accurate as compared to the calculations based on HR as it relies on a lot of other dynamic factors. However, it has been requested a lot by our community and we have ensured that our product team is aware of this suggestion :)

the thing is with apple heath few apps can actually input data into it that is taken as a workout. strava is one of the main ones. so when strava gets a workout then it will go to apple heath sometimes it takes days to do so unless you open strava. but even then if you wear a apple watch is info will be the one that gets used unless you change some settings to make sure stravas data is used first.

I am able to import rides into Apple Health using intervals.icu and the intervals companion app on my iPhone.
Hammerhead links directly to intervals.icu so all rides are uploaded automatically.
In the Intervals.icu Companion app, under Settings/Apple Health Sync, I enable the app to push rides from Hammerhead to Apple Health.
Works brilliantly!
