Route to Start- How does it work?

What does the "Route to Start" feature do?  If I understand right if you are just riding around and do "Route to Start" it will take you back to the beginning of the ride.  What about if you are on a route? Does it take you to the start of the route or to the start of the ride?  What I would like is to be taken to the start of a route if I have to park somewhere else or something.  Is there a way to do this?

  Hi David,

  The Route to start feature would take you back to the point where the ride had begun ie, the point where the ride/activity recording was started.

  If during a ride you would add a route & you choose “route to start”  you would be routed back to the start point of the ride and not the route.

  You can alternatively add POIs along your route from the dashboard and Navigate back to the route start based on your location. You can refer to this article: https://support.hammerhead.io/hc/en-us/articles/360051734934--Navigating-to-Points-of-Interest-POI-
