Historical Elevation Problem on Karoo 2 version 1.208.1036
PlannedI did a MTB ride today and about half way through it I saw that the historical elevation looked like this:

While the dashboard elevation for the ride looked like this:

It looks like the data field only recorded the first fraction of the ride. I also don't know what the horizontal line is. Looking at the mileage numbers it looks like the graph stopped updating about a mile into the ride.

Hi David, thanks for sharing it here. It does look like a bug, that we solved many releases ago. At the time, it was reproducible if you exit the ride app, be on the home screen and get back to the ride screen on the same data-screen. Could you please let us know if you are able to find a pattern or ways to reproduce this issue? I have reported it with the developers as well, and we will look for a solution as soon as the root cause gets identified.

Hi Ali,
After I updated to 1.208.1036 I did a number of rides where the elevation profile was fine. The only difference in this ride was that it was a MTB ride with some friends that were slower than me so I stopped and waited a bunch of times. The place where the profile got stuck was at the distance of my first stop. I stopped, the karoo 2 paused, then, because the stop was long enough, my powemeter went to sleep and the Karoo 2 screen turned off. When I started again everything turned back on just fine. I didn't check the elevation profile until later in the ride after a couple of more stops. It may be coincidence, but the stop and go to sleep and turn off the screen happened at the exact same place that the elevation profile stopped working.
