Don’t update then, no ones forcing you too. Just wait for an update you feel will benefit you and update then. You can’t block the update prompt, you’ll just have to ignore it.

Does not work that way. When an update comes in it changes everything on your unit prior to that update. Most of the recent updates are for the hard charging cyclists that monitor everything under the sun. I might have been one of them some 45-years ago but not now. I am looking for specific tweaks to my Karoo 1 unit that will keep me from getting lost in a country that I just recently moved to. So, I want an update that will help me, but I do not want an update that will crash my system, which is basically what the last update did. And, I think you can block the update prompt - at least the auto update - I think.

If Hammerhead updates are sequential (compounded) then it's going to be almost impossible to avoid certain potentially undesirable elements from the current update when applying the next in a couple of weeks. Should they fix something from the current update in the next then you'd avoid those issues, probably.

I’ve updated every time. Zero issues…till this one. Now for some reason it won’t find my Quarq via Ant+. It finds it via Bluetooth, but nada on Ant+. Di2 also takes forever to locate now too. Odd since this update addresses Ant issues specifically. I’ve tried deleting it and repairing, but it simply won’t find the Quarq.

Same issue here with Di2, was unable to get a connection. Probably hard reset is necessary after each update to ensure everything works fine?

Maybe. I’ve never had to do it before, but their fixes to Ant+ On this release generated the first time this is needed.

I'm also having the same issue with Di2.  I was told by support it was a noisy signal problem but it was fine up until a few releases ago.

I did the hard reset. During reinstalling all sensors, Di2 was found after 10 seconds, so no issue for that. However when starting a ride, I'm took Di2 almost 30 seconds to connect. That is far too long....

It seems like they want to compete with Wahoo … SCNR

Given the performance of the last update , I think they sold a lot of Wahoo's.

    sensor drop

Map all wonky with dead ending of open streets , bad routing, HIDEOUS scaling and map views. If I have to stop to use it , I'm just going to use my phone. The phone works. Reliably and consistently.

Rides shut down and don't record.

Wont start up.  maybe it Starts with screen turned off, so you can't tell if it's on.

Update killed connections, sensors , profiles. Required reload and recovery.

Not uploading rides reliably. Several lost.

Not what I would call a success or pleasant experience.

Working 80% 0f the time is not something to be proud of.
