Radar K1 today.

Today a short had my radar set to ON connection to my K1 yellow top line across the screen but as I got going the yellow line went off when stopped it came back, as for picking up the traffic nothing? Just checked the sensors all OK.

Sorry that you are having an issue with that!
I think the yellow bar that you are seeing is the auto-pause turning on - you may have turned it on inadvertently if you weren't using it before. You can read about auto-pause here.
As for the radar not showing traffic, It is hard to say for sure without troubleshooting. I wonder if it was possibly muted. If you were to accidentally tap the icon in the top right, it would be muted. Look at the Varia article and see if this looks like a possibility. If you are having issues getting the Varia to work, please submit a support ticket and one of our associates will help you out with that!

The muting seems very easy to trigger. Close spacing between icons make it less obvious.
Swiping between screens is a common cause of unintended muting.
Use of color in icons up top might help.
The disconnect banner is nice , but controlling the timing would help.
The main Low Battery notification persistence is very distracting.
