AnsweredI'm having constant issues with my Karoo2. I have done various software updates and factory resets.
When loading a route from the device I constantly get a preparing your ride message. This can last for about 2hrs and sometimes settles. It regularly keeps dropping back to the ride profiles. Also I experience blacked out blocks on the screen and sometimes route map arrows but no map.
When stopping at a cafe when stting off sometimes the app also freezes. TBH I'm at the point of throwing the device in the bin. I just can't rely on it.
Help required please!!!

Sounds like you need help from the team at Hammerhead. Suggest you "Submit a request" and take it from there.
A few comments:
- You should only need to do a software update every two weeks, which is the frequency that Hammerhead releases new updates
- You might want to try creating a new profile and deleting the old one; it's possible your profile is causing these problems
- Ensure you have the correct maps downloaded for the region in which you ride
Maybe give those things a try. My Karoo has been very stable the last few months so I am a little surprised to read your experience, unless the issues you're experiencing are entirely hardware related.
