  Hi Marco,

  I am sorry for the inconvenience there. Yes, the Karoo 2 is not compatible with a locked SIM card. In these cases, we recommend inserting your SIM into your phone to unlock the SIM and to remove any SIM pins. Once you have done so, the SIM can be inserted into the Karoo 2 and should perform as expected. Thanks!

  Hi, in general it works fine. I can type in the pin etc, but it just displays this ugly “?” and “…” instead of  just the regular time … But yeah, I am too lazy to put the sim card in my iPhone to disable the PIN. It is always a hassle to reconfigure iMessage etc. after swapping sim cards …

  I get you, Marco! I've swapped my SIM too - it can be tedious to fix settings after.

  It is a product of the Android OS not meshing well with our UI. It could be cleaned up a bit, or just blocked if it is not something we plan to support.
