Scaling on Distance progress bar
Did an out and back ride today using the K2. Had a route back to start selected so I could coincide my arrival time with the sunset. My outbound distance was 24km and my route back would be following the same roads in reverse. When I got to the turnaround point I expected the new progress bar to be filled in 100% - I'd ridden 24km so had 24km back to start. But it wasn't. It was barely filled ~15% with a solid yellow colour and ~85% hatched markings.
What scale is the progress using? The representation seems completely unintuitive, implying there's a short distance left when there isn't.
Thanks

Ok so today I figured out the illogical scaling logic of the progress bars:
Distance and ascent are not based on the route start point but the ride start point. When a route is loaded the calculation includes the ride distance and ascent up to the point where a route is initiated - so if I start a route mid ride back to home the progress bars represent the whole ride, not what I have left to do.
This makes no sense. I do not care about what I have done, I just want to see what I have remaining. Surely that is the purpose behind the progress "remaining" information.
Please can you fix the calculation to be from route start point, not ride start point.
Thanks :)
